Asbestos Services
Our team was engaged to perform a range of asbestos consultancy services at the Jordan East housing precinct, located in Onehunga, Central Auckland. The site consisted of four blocks of 3-storey “star flats” which Kāinga Ora had planned to demolish to make way for new housing units.
We were involved from the initial demolition survey phase before conducting Class A and B asbestos clearances and background air monitoring during and throughout the demolition process.
Our team collaborated closely with Kāinga Ora throughout the project, helping to ensure that the process was delivered to minimise the risks associated with asbestos fibre exposure to all parties concerned.
