Our Wellington team recently partnered with Do Some Good to help Porirua School with a garden project. We worked alongside tamariki and teachers to build the beginnings of an outdoor classroom, including a colourful sensory path and a whole lot of weeding!
The event coincided with International Outdoor Classroom Day and is the beginning of an amazing outdoor space for the tamariki of Porirua School. Amongst all the hard work we also enjoyed a lunchtime sausage sizzle and were humbled to have an amazing concert from the children at the end of the day. We hope to be able to help more with the project in the future.
Thank you to Porirua School and Do Some Good for the opportunity to work together to create something magical and meaningful – and of course thank you to Robyn Edwards, Chloe Wright, Tim Barlow, Olya Albot and Rachel Millar for your effort on the day!
