Pattle Delamore Partners have appointed Tony Urquhart to lead its infrastructure advisory team.
“I am thrilled to join PDP at a time when there is so much opportunity in the water and environment market. The government’s three waters review, the fresh water policy and new independent infrastructure advisory board all signal that there is huge change coming”, says Urquhart. “Helping our clients successfully navigate challenges such as greater expectations relating to the risk and resilience of built infrastructure presents an opportunity for innovation and thought leadership. PDP provides an exciting opportunity to take advantage of deep technical knowledge and provide complimentary services such as infrastructure optimisation and investment planning to clients in what is a very busy infrastructure market. I’m really looking forward to getting back and working in a local, employee owned company. PDP’s open and collaborative culture was a key reason for me accepting the role.”
Tony is a highly experienced infrastructure asset management leader built on 30 years of experience with a wide range of public and private sector corporations including assignments in Australia, New Zealand, Asia, the Middle East and the United States. He has held senior roles in some of the world’s largest consulting firms including Veolia, AECOM and Stantec.
Pattle Delamore Partners CEO, Geoff Milsom said “This is an exciting opportunity for us to further broaden our services and client relationships, to provide more creative thinking and sound advice and grow our contribution to solving the important infrastructure and environmental challenges facing NZ. Tony’s primary role will be to develop an Infrastructure Advisory team at PDP that is recognised as a market leader and trusted advisor to our clients, complimenting PDP’s current environmental solutions business.”
