Greenhouse Gas Estimation from the Waste Incineration Sector

Developed estimates of annual emissions of direct greenhouse gases (GHGs) for the New Zealand GHG inventory covering: carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide and methane from waste incinerators; particularly those in the hospital, research and quarantine sectors.  The period for the study covered 1990 to 2020 and utilised the appropriate IPCC methodologies.
