Today we are celebrating Pink Shirt Day – an annual (global) event that joins people in standing together against bullying. This year Pink Shirt Days also falls on the exact same day as worldwide Diversity Day.

In Aotearoa, Pink Shirt Day is focused on creating bullying-free schools, workplaces, communities and whānau where everyone feels safe, valued and respected. It is a day to celebrate how diverse we all are and this can only be a good thing for our communities and our workplaces.

We are acknowledging this day by encouraging pride of self, being more inclusive and promoting kindness by wearing #PINK. To contribute to this great cause in our offices we had donation boxes and shared morning teas with home-baked goodies.
