Steve has over 30 years’ experience in the Resource Management industry, including Regional Councils and nearly 23 years as a consultant marine ecologist. In that time he’s been involved in a wide variety of exciting developments and coastal projects in New Zealand and the Pacific providing marine and estuarine ecological, water quality and sediment quality information and advice. These projects include wastewater and industrial discharges, bridges, roading, dredging, marinas, port developments, resort developments, aquaculture and shipwrecks.
Steve has practical experience in assessing environments, conducting baseline surveys, designing and implementing monitoring programmes, preparing and presenting expert testimony to Resource Consent hearings and the Environment Court. He has a strong focus on customer service and providing the best quality technical advice and scientifically accurate information.
